Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Driver to join our team. As a Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods and materials to their designated locations. This position requires commercial driving experience and the ability to operate various types of vehicles.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate company vehicles to transport goods and materials
- Follow assigned schedules to ensure timely deliveries
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of items
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption
- Perform basic maintenance tasks on vehicles as needed
Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Commercial driving experience preferred
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks such as loading/unloading cargo
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Familiarity with warehouse operations is a plus
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
